Galle Exhibition

In the 1920s Galle workshop produced big beautiful vases and lamps in vivid yellow, green, red and blue. The ground colour is much more even. They tend to look much less hand made. We consider these to be more Art Deco.

Reopening in 1918/19, new designs were used, especially blow out. By 1925 Deco vases were been produced, usually large and impressive in storing blight colours with striking flowers, the lily vase, or the elephant vase or the polar bear vase.
